Dr. Gaelin Arbios graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School in 1990. Dr. Arbios is a small animal General Practitioner with a special interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. Dr. Arbios believes that she has the coolest job in the world because she gets to come to work and enjoy your wonderful dogs and cats every day. She can often be found in the lobby chatting with clients and petting the animals. Outside of the office, Dr. Arbios rides competition dressage and endurance horses and plays the bagpipes with her husband.
In 2011, Dr. Arbios celebrated twenty years of practice at Sunset Pet Hospital. She can be found in the office Monday through Thursday in the afternoons and evenings.
Dr. Boman grew up in southern California and received her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. Her Master's research involved the study of common bottlenose dolphin and beluga whale immune systems. After receiving her Masters, Dr. Boman spent the next five years doing research in the field of immunology.
Dr. Boman graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and came to work at Sunset AMC shortly after. She enjoys working with all species of animals, including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, rodents, and reptiles. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, snowboarding, SCUBA diving, and spending time with her husband Erik and her pets- Portia, a year old Great Dane and two cats, Jabari and Keah.
Renee Lockrem is a registered veterinary technician and has been in the industry for about 21 years Renee has worked at Sunset Pet Animal Medical Center for the last 15 years. Renee enjoys working with animals; she also enjoys answering questions about your pet’s treatment and medications.
Amber Ross has been a licensed registered veterinary technician since 2001. She has worked at Sunset Animal Medical Center since 2004. She has a dedicated interest in anesthesia and dentistry. Amber continues to attend classes to further her understanding of organ systems, pharmacology, and patient care. Amber loves working with dogs and cats. She has a tender bedside manners, attention to detail, and charismatic attitude with everything she does. Amber is currently the head technician on evenings during the week and works closely with Dr. Arbios.
